4th POWER AND COOLING FOCUSES ON COST REDUCTION FOR DATA CENTRES

London, 22 July 2009 – International consulting firm BroadGroup has announced the launch of 4th Power and Cooling for Data Centres
forum that will take place 22 October 2009, at the America Square Conference Centre in London.
BroadGroup research has found that Power represents an average of 56% of operating cost across Data Centres, and cost, amplified in a recent survey conducted by the group, which revealed cost reduction as the number one objective of data centre operators in the next financial year This annual event has as its theme how to use innovation to reduce cost and energy consumption, and increase efficiency in data centres. The special one-day forum will review an array of new solutions and ideas emerging to tackle the most critical issue in data centres today: cost.
In a content-led programme packed with insight and the very latest information, the conference will assess the most innovative range of solutions and technologies that claim to bring both cost reduction and lower carbon emissions.
