Text Messaging helps keep Welsh organisations connected

Cardiff based Pinnacle Telecom are now able to provide a ‘text messaging from Outlook’ solution for their business clients. The ability to text from the desktop gives organisations an additional and cost effective way of communicating with customers and stakeholders.

Pinnacle Telecom has been able to achieve this by partnering with Avanquest Solutions – business process providers and developers of the Text Message Server SMS gateway.

Avanquest developed Text Message Server to meet the growing demand from business users to include enterprise text messaging as part of their every day communications strategy.

Gary Summerfield, Sales Director at Pinnacle Telecom said, “Our aim is to give our clients choice and provide them with a reliable and adaptable communications infrastructure tailored to their specific needs.”

A typed note takes minutes - one push of the button and over 100 people are notified almost immediately and we get receipt confirmation in our ‘in’ box.”

Independent Foster Care Services (IFCS) is an independent fostering agency. Adrian Wilson, Director at IFCS said, “Communication is central to our business and services. We use texting on a daily basis to keep all our foster carers completely up to date with essential information, as well as communicating with potential new foster carers and directly with young people. Text messaging is now central to how we reach out to our community.”
