NORLAND ACHIEVES TOP TRACK 250 LISTING
- Wednesday, 28 October 2009
Norland Managed Services has achieved a listing at number 189 in The Sunday Times Top Track 250. The Top Track 250 is a ranking of Britain’s mid-market private companies, based on sales, in their latest available audited accounts.
This year’s Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250, compiled by Oxford-based research and networking events company Fast Track, identifies the mid-ranking private businesses that are the backbone of the British economy.
The 250 companies generated combined sales of £68bn and employed more than 500,000 staff – equivalent to roughly 5% of GDP and 1.5% of the workforce.
Britain’s mid-market companies are proving resourceful and resilient as they power through the downturn, being more nimble and therefore more able to respond to market changes.
Norland has weathered the recent economic storms; achieving growth of 20%+ this year with more projected for the coming financial year.
Ian Entwisle, Chief Executive commented: “Every Norland employee has played a part in this significant achievement by virtue of being exceptional people delivering exceptional service to our customers day in and day out. This and our strategy of providing total solutions in the managed services market has resulted in our ranking for the first time this year.
The facilities maintenance sector is traditionally resilient in times of downturn and we are confident that our service delivery, ability to innovate our customers’ cost structure and competitive pricing will enable our continued growth.”
