URGENT ADDENDUM FROM WHAT CONSUMER
Ref: Press release: New Regulations Force Airlines to Advertise ‘Real’ Prices
What Consumer would like to clarify that the charges detailed in this press release for the airline bmi (www.flybmi.com) are 100 per cent inaccurate. They should have been referenced to the low-cost airline bmibaby (www.bmibaby.com).
As a full service airline operating from its main hub of London Heathrow, bmi (www.flybmi.com) does not charge its customers for checking-in at the airport, checking-in baggage or seat allocation as outlined in our press release. In fact, bmi was the first airline to cut fuel surcharges on its mainline European and domestic operations out of London Heathrow and for many years has featured transparent pricing on its website.
What Consumer would like to apologise to bmi for the error.
