TSSI targets aggressive sales growth for its Fingerprint Biometrics Division with new appointment


28 July 2005 –TSSI Systems, the document and personnel identity specialist, has today announced the appointment of Russell Woolsey to its Fingerprint Biometrics Division. As Sales Manger, Biometrics Woolsey will manage develop direct and channel sales.

Woolsey’s appointment follows the £3.5 million investment from ACUS Management Partners in June 2005 and reflects TSSI’s expansion plans.

Woolsey has a technical and sales background. Recent appointments include a position with automatic identification OEM Omron, where he was Northern Europe Account Manager. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering.

I plan to build on this initial profile and drive new sales opportunities,” said Russell Woolsey, sales manager, TSSI.

Its systems can be installed as freestanding products, as part of a system, or integrated with other industry-compatible solutions. Uniquely, TSSI’s template, which stores the fingerprints’ algorithm, is very small, only 52 bytes. This offers opportunities to store other personal data at an economic cost.
