Ottobock builds further on success of London 2012 Paralympic Games

At the XI International Investment Forum in Sochi, it has been announced German company Ottobock, a leading provider of innovative technology and services for people with limited mobility, has been named the exclusive provider of technical service for athletes competing at the 2014 Paralympic Games in Sochi. The agreement was signed by Dmitry Chernyshenko, President of the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee, and Oliver Jacobi of Ottobock Moscow. Within the framework of the signed agreement Ottobock will provide a team of expert technicians to perform maintenance and repair of prostheses, orthoses, and wheelchairs used by athletes in competition as well as daily life.

The agreement was signed fewer than two weeks after the conclusion of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, where 80 Ottobock experts from 18 countries performed maintenance...
