Yorkshire Food Finder would like to invite you to a bespoke autumn/winter food trail on November 6-8 that will take you on a food journey of discovery across the spectacular North Yorkshire moors to meet the passionate producers behind Yorkshire’s best food.
Launching in November, Yorkshire Food Finder will offer foodies intimate access to the county’s top artisan food producers via 13 guided trails that end with a signature feast of Yorkshire food at one of three award-winning restaurants.
Hop aboard this 1-day/2-night press trip and enjoy cosy and quirky luxury accommodation at the award-winning and much-acclaimed Star Inn at Harome, followed by a meet-and-greet with producers from all 13 trails, including cheesemakers, fish and meat smokers, charcutiers, rare meat breeders, preservers and brewers, so you can hear their fantastic foodie stories and enjoy their products. Award-winning chefs Andrew Pern from the Star Inn (star of the BBC’s Great British Menu), Ben Cox from The Star @ Sancton and Michelin-starred James Mackenzie from The Pipe and Glass will also be present.
Your bespoke trail on November 7 includes visits to Botton Creamery, Taste Traditions Rare Breeds Farm and Ampleforth Abbey for the final cider pressing of the year, followed by a signature autumnal dinner cooked up by Andrew Pern, and enjoyed in the private dining room of his 14th century coaching inn.
Fully-hosted, it includes train travel from London to York on November 6, returning on the morning of November 8, as well as transfers, meals and two-night luxury accommodation at the Star Inn’s Cross House Lodge (www.thestaratharome.co.uk/star_accomm.htm)
