City Book Fair, the first book fair dedicated exclusively to the financial markets, is taking place from 12-15 November 2012 at Bishopsgate Institute in London.
Featuring talks from over 50 highly respected authors, including Sir Howard Davies (former executive chairman, FSA), John Authers (FT), Philip Coggan (The Economist) and George Magnus (UBS), City Book Fair provides delegates with the opportunity to hear about the most current thinking from a wide range of leading experts.
Aimed at institutional traders, investment managers and financial professionals, the four day event will cover a broad range of subjects including macroeconomics, quantitative finance, asset allocation and emerging markets. Delegates can choose to attend single talks or buy tickets for a full day.
Matthew Clements, event director, commented, “We are delighted that so many highly acclaimed authors are speaking at City Book Fair and are very excited by the prospect of creating a ‘Hay-on-Wye’ style event for the financial markets, enabling delegates to listen to presentations, talk to authors and browse or buy books from the publishers’ stands.”
City Book Fair is organised by Global Markets Media Ltd, a UK-based company that has been providing research, conferences and training courses to the global financial markets since 2003.
Tickets cost GBP 39+VAT for a single talk or GBP 195 +VAT for a single day pass.
