Mobilize Systems and GO Outdoors selected as a BT Retail Week Technology Awards finalist

Mobilize Systems announces that its integrated mobile-based loyalty scheme, recently launched with GO Outdoors, has been selected as a BT Retail Week Technology Awards finalist in the category ‘Customer Technology Initiative of the Year.’

GO Outdoors’ ‘Discount Card’ app is the first integrated smartphone-based retailer loyalty scheme to be launched nationally in the UK. The solution combines mobile phone technology (Mobilize), imaging scanners (Motorola), terminal and electronic point of sale EPOS systems (Prologic) to deliver the GO Outdoors Discount Card scheme to smartphones.

The mobile-based loyalty scheme brings significant enhancements for GO Outdoors and its customers. Whilst customers can use their phone to earn and redeem rewards and offers in store, GO Outdoors benefits from enhanced customer engagement. With no need for plastic cards or paper vouchers, Mobilize helps reduce the cost of operating the loyalty programme.
