US company, Publishing Clearing House has selected the UK market for the expansion of its successful sweepstakes and multi-channel direct marketing business model, launching PCHPrizes.co.uk to give consumers the chance to win large cash prizes.
Publishers Clearing House (PCH) is most well known in the US for its sweepstake campaign featuring the Prize Patrol Van and its Deputies, a team of trained individuals that travel to locations across the US, surprising prizewinners with thousands and often millions of dollars.
For more than 55 years, PCH has achieved outstanding success in the US, giving away more than $240 million in cash and prizes to lucky winners across the country.
Josh Glantz, vice president and general manager of PCH Online, said: “Extending the PCH brand internationally presents UK residents with exciting opportunities to win large sums of money online. From an advertising perspective, PCH Online will also offer UK companies cost-efficient marketing partnerships that generate substantial numbers of qualified leads through unique online advertising products. These products range from traditional banner advertising to custom sweepstakes, co-registration, re-directed traffic and newsletter opt-ins.”
To promote its UK expansion, the PCH campaign will invest £400,000 in online advertising including banner ads, redirected traffic and email newsletters through a partnership with Leeds-based Go Direct Marketing. The partnership puts Go Direct Marketing in charge of all sales, media buys and strategic partnerships for the PCH brand in the UK.
Windsor Roberts, director of Go Direct Marketing, said: “The PCHprize.co.uk model will offer marketers the opportunity to accurately connect with target consumer groups online, and more importantly take advantage of industry - leading consumer response rates. The team is excited about the opportunity to make PCHPrizes.co.uk a household name in the UK and match the brand’s US success.”
Dennis Vukelic, director of online strategy at Publishers Clearing House, said: “Based on our initial success in the UK we’ll consider rolling out additional popular online products including PCHGames, com, PCHSearchandWin,com, PCHLotto.com, PCHTV.com and more. We’re optimistic that UK residents will embrace our brand and are excited to bring them the same great winning opportunities that are so popular here in the US.”

People across the country will also have the opportunity to enter to win cash prizes of £2,000, £5,000 and £10,000.
