London, 14 April, 2009 - UK start-up Imagini, inventor of VisualDNA™, has appointed Charles Wiles (former Product Manager at Google) as Managing Director of Imagini, effective immediately.
Prior to joining Imagini, Charles was the first Product Manager to be hired by Google outside of the USA and reported directly to one of Google's four Product Management VPs. In 2004 he founded FotoSwap - one of the first peer-to-peer photo sharing software applications - after acting as Chief Scientist for Anthropics Technology Ltd. Charles held development and research based positions at Toshiba and Canon before this.
